Most people have lost valuable or important documents or pictures because they didn't have a second copy of them on another media placed at another location. The reason for losses like this might be computer or storage media failure, theft, fire etc.
So PLEASE take the seconds need to click NXAccounts' Backup button on the Main window. Make sure you save them to another media that the computer where NXAccounts is installed so your copies ever if your computer is stolen or the office should catch fire...

Check and update help system and manuals
Due to the target market for this software, we allow you to re-open and edit transactions found to be wrongly registered. This is a better solution than your audit department try to keep track of tons of correction vouchers and even corrections on correction vouchers. HOWEVER, in order to produce final and reliable reports you need to permanently LOCK the periods for which you are reporting from.
ALL reports including non-locked periods will display the alarming keyword 'Preliminary' in their title line!
The locking is done from the left pane of the Account Settings window. Note the upper, left button. Once you click and confirm the action the selected period will be locked and no changes can be made to transactions or other data involving that period.
